Prize-Giving & Closing Ceremony (3)

(1) Those sailors who have not qualified for the medals races will automatically be entered into a one-off team 'Plate' competition, to be known as the Nations Challenge Cup. All classes will race in fleets, with a single start for each class, with the winner in each fleet scoring 1 point, the second 2, third 3, etc. The lowest aggregate score for each country, taking the best five results across all fleets, will be awarded the Nations Challenge Cup, to be retained until the following championship in 2016. 

(2) Medal races will be sailed if at least 6 races have been completed in an event by the end of racing on Friday 31st July. Double points will accrue to the Nations Cup Team Trophy. In the event a fleet, or fleets, do not complete the required number of races, those sailors will be entered into the Nations Challenge Cup competition. See also Appendix C. 

(3) The prize-giving and closing ceremony will take place as soon as possible following the conclusion of racing on the last day of The Championship.
